Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure reliability and durability and to easily and certainly control a water removal amount, by operating the movable diaphragm of a supply chamber and that of a recovery chamber in connection with each other through an interlocking means for changing the volume of the recovery chamber corresponding to the increase and decrease in the volume of the supply chamber and providing a means for controlling the difference between the volumetric variation amounts of both chambers to the interlocking means. CONSTITUTION:The first variable volume chamber 14 is allowed to communicate with the cylinder chamber 44 of a cylinder apparatus 43 and the piston 46 of the cylinder apparatus 43 is advanced and retracted by a servo motor 45 to make the volume in the first variable volume chamber 14 adjustable. The cylinder 43 controls the first variable volume chamber 14 so that the volume thereof is made large when diaphragms 11, 12 move to the right but made small when said diaphragms move to the left. As a result, the volume variation amount of the first recovery chamber 15 becomes larger than that of the first supply chamber 13 by the volumetric variation portion of the first variable volume chamber 14 due to the cylinder apparatus 43. Therefore, a treated dialyzing fluid can be recovered in an amount larger than that of a supplied fresh dialyzing fluid by the volumetric variation portion and said volumetric variation portion coincides with the water removing amount by a dialyzer 1.
