Abstract
PURPOSE:To discriminate whether a load operation is required or not so that adequate automatic operation control is enabled regardless of the atmosphere at the start of operation by comparing the detected values from a gas detecting means before and after the prescribed time and controlling a load by the absolute value of the difference therebetween. CONSTITUTION:The gas detecting means consists of a detecting part 1 consisting of a metal oxide semiconductor such as ZnO or SnO2 which is changed in conductive characteristic by sensing a reducing gas such as CO and an A/D conversion circuit 2 which converts the output level to a digital value. A detection control part 3 consists of a data memory part which stores the detected value, a relational discriminating part 6 which compares the absolute value of the difference between the reference value of a reference data memory part 5 and the detected value with a preset value and a reference data updating part 7 which updates the reference value after the comparison. A load control part 9 which operates to control the load 8 in spite of a change in the detected value to either a large or small value controls the stop and run of the load by the output of the relational discriminating part 6 if the load is an electric motor.
