Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively use an unused part, by providing a write control area, rewriting corresponding address data by null area leading address data when an error is generated, and writing data at a part where the error is generated on an address based on new address data. CONSTITUTION:The write control area is provided at a part of a non-volatile memory device 1, and the null area leading address data and the address data of the data already written are stored. A memory write/readout control part 2, when being requested to rewrite the data in the non-volatile memory device 1, rewrites the data according to information in the write control area, and checks the presence/absence of the error. And when the error is generated, corresponding address data in the write control area is rewritten by the null area leading address data, and also, the null area leading address data is updated, and the data at the part where the error is generated is written on the address based on the new address data. In such a way, it is possible to utilize the unused part effectively.
