Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable an engine to be prevented from stall due to undershoot by renewing the accumulated value of correction amount when the rotational speed of engine is judged lower than the lower limit one except in idling. CONSTITUTION:A judging means in an electronic controller 60 judges whether or not the rotational speed of an engine 2 except in idling is lower than the lower limit of desired idle rotational speed minus a predetermined value. When the rotational speed of engine 2 is judged lower than the lower limit of rotational speed by the judging means, an accumulated value renewing means adds the accumulated value of correction amount obtained repeatedly on the basis of a difference between actual rotational speed detected by a rotational speed sensor 25 and desired idle rotational speed or lower limit of rotational speed to the accumulated value of correction amount obtained by an idle rotational speed controlling means to renew the value. Thus, the minimum value of rotational speed of engine can be maintained in the proximity of desired rotational speed even except in idling.
