Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in weldability and processability, by incorporating a metal powder or an alloy powder and carbon fiber in a coating. CONSTITUTION:30-70wt.% at least one metal powder or alloy powder of a mean particle diameter 0.5-3 times as large as the film thickness, selected from among Mg, Al, Si, Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zr, Zn, Pb, Sn and Sb, and 0.1-10wt.% pitch carbon fiber of a diameter <=15mum, as nonvolatile matter are dispersed in a coating material comprising a paint vehicle (e.g., polyester), a curing agent (e.g., melamine/formaldehyde resin) and an organic solvent (e.g., toluene).
