Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform good fixing of paper sheet surely separated by providing a pawl part in one end of two or more turnable guides while lightly adapting the pawl part under its own weight to a fixer roller and supporting a driven roller in the other end part of the guide to be brought into contact with a small contour part of a drive roller. CONSTITUTION:Performing the fixing of sheet paper 31 between a heat roller 21 and a press roller 22, by adapting a pawl part 28c of two or more turnable guides 28 under its own weight lightly to the roller 21, the sheet paper 31, separating its point end from the heat roller 21, is fed along the guide 28 between a drive roller 26a and a driven roller 26b supported to another end part 28b of the guide 28. This drive roller 26a is a roller of different diameter normally with the driven roller 26b into contact with a small contour part 25b, but when the paper sheet 31 advances coming in, lifting the driven roller 26b to a large contour part 25a because the sheet paper is conveyed being held between the large contour part 25a and the driven roller 26b, the guide 28 is swiveled, detaching its pawl part 28c from the roller 21. Thus performing sure sheet separation while preventing toner from adhering to the pawl part, good fixing can be performed.
