Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an image pick-up signal which is satisfactorily reproduced even a subject having a very strong contrast by providing a circuit to execute a white balance control to a 1/n sec accumulation picture part and a 1/m sec accumulation picture part individually. CONSTITUTION:A switch 82A impresses only a part removed by a C control signal out of the image pick-up signal of a 1/60 sec accumulation to a smoothing circuit 75A, and a switch 83A impresses the part removed by the C control signal out of the image pick-up signal of a 1/1000 sec accumulation to a smoothing circuit 76A. Consequently, the output of a comparing circuit 77A controls the white balance of the image pick-up signal of the 1/60 sec accumulation, and the output of a comparing circuit 78A controls the white balance of the image pick-up signal of the 1/1000 sec accumulation. Thus, the proper white balances can be attained for respective accumulation picture parts, and the satisfactory white balance can be realized as a whole screen.
