Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a fine key touch sensitivity and to improve beating efficiency by arranging an air damper on the rear end part of each key, receiving the rear end part of the key rotationally restored after key depressing operation, absorbing the kinetic energy of the key, and discharging the energy to the external to ease falling shock.

The damper 3 transmits force caused by pressure rise to the key 4 as main reaction to brake the key 4. Thereby the kinetic energy of the key 4 is effectively absorbed to the damper 3 and exhausted to the outside together with outflow air and the energy absorbed to the damper 3 is not returned to the key 4.
