Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Column layers 11 are accomodated near the inwall of a shell 3a, which are loosely filled with low melting point metal particles 12. When high-temperature-and-high-velocity hydrogen gas and reactive product rush into the shell 3 from an inlet nozzle 9 to come into contact against the particles 12, the kinetic energy of the high-temperature-and-high-velocity fluid is absorbed by jamming the particles 12 to reduce impact on the shell 3a. And heat energy of the high-temperature-and-high-velocity fluid is absorbed by fusion latent heat of the particles 12 to damp heat shock on the shell 3a.
