Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a superconductor comprising a sintered body of a primary component contg. Y and at least one among Sc, La, etc., Sr or/and Ca, and at least one among Cu, Zn, Ni, etc. along with O, exhibiting superconductivity at, particularly, >= b.p. of liquid N2. CONSTITUTION:The title superconductor is constituted of a sintered body consisting of O and a primary component (An) contg. a combination of Y with at least one among Sc, La, Nd, etc. as a first component (A1), Sr or/and Ca as a second component (A2), and at least one among Cu, Zn, Ni, etc. as a third component (A3), having also K2NiF4 structure contg. rhombic crystals. Moreover, in a primary component An for the sinterd body constituted of A1, A2 and A3 10<=A1<=60 atomic %, 20<=A2<=50 atomic %, and 30<=A3<=65 atomic %. The sintered body is a dense superconductor having stable characteristics exhibiting superconductivity when it is cooled with liquid N2.
