Abstract

PURPOSE:To connect a terminal electrode and a correction use wiring by forming plural pieces of correction use wiring patterns on the reverse side of a glass substrate of one side of a liquid crystal panel, and connecting the correction use wiring pattern and the terminal electrode part of the substrate to which a driving IC connected to a disconnected signal line is installed, on both sides of the liquid crystal panel of the disconnected signal line in the liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION:On the reverse side of a TFT array substrate 10 for constituting a liquid crystal display panel 1, plural pieces of correction use wiring patterns 2 are formed in other part than a display part 7 of the liquid crystal display panel. The liquid crystal display panel 1 is mounted on a substrate 4 to which a driving IC is installed, and thereafter, a continuity inspection is executed and a disconnection inspection of a signal line is executed. When the signal line having a disconnected part 8 is detected, a terminal electrode part 5 connected to its signal line, and the correction use wiring pattern are connected by wire bonding by using a correction use wiring 6 in an a-a' part, and a b-b' part of both sides of the signal line of the liquid crystal display panel 1. In such a way, the disconnected signal can be corrected, and the yield of the liquid crystal display device can be raised.
