Abstract
PURPOSE:To lessen heating through the lowering of a slide friction between a roller and a flange ring and improve an anti-seizure quality by making the flange ring which comes into a slide contact with the roller, in addition to an inner ring or an outer ring, and having it made of ceramics of a different material. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil is supplied from the smaller end surface 13b side of a conical roller 13 into the inside of a bearing, and this lubricating oil is supplied effectively toward the roller guide surface 12a of a flange ring 12 due to its centrifugal effect during the rotation of the bearing, and the formation of a sufficient lubricating oil film can be accomplished at the guide surface 12a. Meanwhile, as the outer perimeter surfaces of the flanges 19, 20 at both end portions of a retainer 14 are guided by the smaller diameter end portion of an outer ring 11 and the cylindrical surfaces 11b, 12b of the flange ring 12, the rotation of the retainer 14 at the time of bearing rotation can be rotated with precision, and no vibration is generated at the retainer 14. Accordingly, no seizure of the retainer 14 due to an excessive slide friction at the contact surface of the roller 13 of the retainer 14 caused by vibration is brought about, and a smooth and stable rotation is possible.
