Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance reliability and durability under use conditions of high temperature and no-lubrication by using a sintered body, the principal component of which is silicon carbide as one of an outer race, an inner race and a rolling element, and forming the other parts by a sintered body, the principal component of which is silicon nitride. CONSTITUTION:A bearing 1 comprises an outer race 2, an inner race 3 and a ball rolling element 4. The outer race 2 and the inner race 3 are manufactured by a sintered body having a small coefficient of friction, little abrasion, little generation of heat and a small coefficient of expansion, the principal component of which is silicon carbide. Thus, during rotation, friction is low, abrasion is little, and generation of heat is little. Accordingly, the bearing can be good enough for severe use conditions of high temperature and no-lubrication to enhance reliability and durability.

主成分とした焼結体との組合わせから形成されているの
で、回転中の摩擦が小さく、かつ、摩耗が少ないことは
勿論のこと、発熱も小さい6従って、高温、無潤滑とい
うきびしい使用条件下にあっても十分耐えることができ
、信頼性、耐久性の高い軸受となる。
