Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance adhesion between an undercoat layer and a white coat or top coat layer by dispersing into a carrier liquid a specified bisphenol A type or bisphenol F type epoxy resin solid at normal temperature, a cross-linking agent, a colorant, a charge regulator, and other necessary additives. CONSTITUTION:The carrier liquid contains the bisphenol A type or F type epoxy resin having at least one epoxy group, a melting point of >=40 deg.C, and a number average molecular weight of 800-4,000 and being solid at normal temperature, the cross-linking agent causing hardening reaction in baking conditions, such as polycarboxylic acid, i.e., trimellitic acid, pyromellitic acid, tetrahydrophthalic acid, adipic acid, and sebacic acid, and their anhydrides, melamine resin, urea resin, amino type compounds, i.e., dicyandiamide, imidazole, imidazoline, and their derivatives, and phenol type resins, the colorant, the charge regulator, and other necessary additives, thus permitting an image satisfying various requirements to be obtained after thermosetting.
