Abstract

PURPOSE:To promote the uniform diffusion of injection fuel into a suction flow by providing each valve to arrange its rear edge part (downstream side end edge) so as to be positioned in the same side to an injection valve when the air valve and the throttle valve provided in a common throttle body, are fully opened. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a throttle body 1 which rotatably supports an air valve 4 and a throttle valve 6 respectively by valve shafts 5, 7 in the upstream and downstream sides of a suction passage 3, a body main unit 2 provides in its one side surface a pair of injection passages 8, 9 diagonally opened toward the downstream side of the suction passage 3. Main injection and subinjection valves 10, 11 are respectively mounted to each injection passage 8, 9. Here the main injection valve 10 sets its injection direction so as to cross at a right angle with an axial line parallel with each valve shaft 5, 7. While the injection passage 8 forms its opening part 8a in a position appearing in a rear edge part 4b of the air valve 4. Further each valve 4, 6, when it is fully opened, is arranged so as to position the front edge parts in an opposite side to the injection valves 10, 11 and the rear edge part in the same side to the injection valves 10, 11.
