Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the strength of a pipe, by a method wherein a molding matrix is molded by extrusion so as to have the shape of a string and is coiled, the coiled matrix is incorporated into a molding tube so that the axial direction of the coil coincides with the same of the molding tube, then the incorporated pipe is extruded into the axial direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:A molding matrix 7, mixed with reinforcing fibers, is inserted into a preliminary molding tube 10 and is formed so as to have the shape of a string by extriding it out of an opening 11 by an extruding member 12 and the lengthwise direction of the reinforcing fibers is arranged so as to be along the lengthwise direction of the string in the tendency of the molding. The string-type molding matrix 7 is reeled by a reeling device 14 so as to have the shape of a coil. The molding matrix 7 is fitted to a molding core 4 at the base end 2b of the molding tube 2 and the extruding member 3 is moved left by a hydraulic cylinder 5 whereby the molding matrix 7 is pushed toward the outlet port of the molding tube 2 and the molding core 4 is also moved into the same direction together with the member 3. The diameter of the molding matrix 7 is reduced gradually at the part of a tapered tube 2c, then, a molded pipe 8 having a required thickness may be extruded through a gap between the inside periphery of the outlet port of the molding tube 2 and the outside periphery of the molding core 4.
