Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at reducing the resistance of ventilation in an automobile air-conditioner in which an inflow part of an evaporator is directly connected to a discharge port of a scroll casing of a centrifugal blower, by forming flat tubes and corrugated fins so that the air inflow part of the evaporator is small while the outlet part thereof is large. CONSTITUTION:Each of flat tubes 8 in an evaporator 5 is formed so that the air inflow side edge part thereof is short but the air outflow port side edge part is long. Further, corrugated fins 9 attached between the flat tubes 8 is formed such that a partially annular material is alternately bent along a diametrical line 9a so as to be corrugated. The flat tubes 8 and the air inflow part of the evaporator 5 formed by the corrugated is directly connected to the discharge port 4 of the scroll casing 3 of the centrifugal blower. With this arrangement the evaporator can be disposed in the scroll casing, thereby it is possible aim at reducing the resistance of ventilation and at enhancing the cooling capacity.
