Abstract
PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the time from melting to application by gradually heating and melting the solid block of a hot-melt material, and continuously dripping or allowing the formed melt to flow down to the coating part of an applicator without stagnation. CONSTITUTION:An outflow port 6 is moved to a prescribed position of the applicator 11, and the solid block 16 of a hot-melt material is placed on a protrusion 8a in a hot melting vessel 1. Since the protrusion 8a is heated by a heater, the block is continuously and gradually melted by the heat of the protrusion 8a from a contact surface, and the melt 16a is immediately dripped onto an inner bottom surface 1b through the hole of a heated part 8 and the hole of a punched metal. The melt is guided by the inclination of the inner bottom surface 1b, passed through the outflow hole 5, naturally drips or flows down continuously onto the inclined wall part 12b of the applicator 11 from the outflow port 6, and is transferred and adhered to the surface of a material 15 to be coated from a rotating coating roll 13.
