Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of decomposition of O3 in exhaust gas by dehumidifying the exhaust gas contg. O3 and by catalytically decomposing the O3. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas contg. O3 is dehumidified to <=60% relative humidity and brought into contact with an O3 decomposing catalyst such as TiO2-SiO2- MnO2 at 0-300 deg.C to decompose and remove the O3. The efficiency of decomposition of the O3 is increased by the previous dehumidification.
