PURPOSE:To synthetically and continuously monitor motions of objects and to give a proper instruction in accordance with circumstances to individual objects like automobiles by guiding objects like automobiles based on picture data inputted from a television camera. CONSTITUTION:This system consists of a television camera 1, a frame memory 2 in which a monitor picture is stored, a reference picture memory 3 in which a reference picture as the reference for segmenting of objects from the monitor picture is stored, a difference means 4 which takes a difference between the monitor picture and the reference picture, a difference picture memory 5 for difference picture, a picture processing means 6, an object position calculating means 7, a guide course storage means 8, a guide instruction generating means 9 which decides positional relations between calculated positions of objects and stored guide courses of objects and generates guide instruction data, and an instructing means 10. Thus, motions of individual objects like automobiles in a parking lot or the like are synthetically and continuously monitored and instructs in accordance with circumstances are given to individual objects like automobiles.
