Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a cut sheet to be easily and surely set even if the top end thereof is curled to be spread, by providing a travel mechanism which projects a support member toward a pay-out roller in conjunction with a hopper rotating reversely to the cut sheet pressing direction. CONSTITUTION:Due to the pressing with the setting of cut sheets 1, a hopper 2 rotates about a fulcrum 14 in a direction of an arrow B. The lower part of the hopper 2 presses down an end part 20a of a travel mechanism (lever) 20, for example, consisting of a lever, whereby the lever 20 rotates about a fulcrum 21 in a direction of an arrow D. Due to this rotation, the other end part 20b of the lever 20 presses up a protruding tongue piece 15a of a support member 15 and projects the support member 15 toward a pay-out roller 8 (in the direction of arrow C). The distance between the support member 15 and the hopper 2 is made larger by projecting the support member 15 in this manner. Thus, the cut sheet can be easily and surely set even with the top end curled outside, i.e. with the inserting end spread.
