Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease generation of noise by providing a choke coil between a switching element and an input power and by connecting a capacitor in parallel to said switching element and a serial assembly diode. CONSTITUTION:A chopper-mode DC-DC converter circuit applies a square waved pulse voltage converted by a switching transistor (Tr) 2 and a diode 3 from a DC input power 1 via a choke coil 8 to a smoothing circuit by a smoothing choke coil 4 and a capacitor 5 to take out its average DC voltage as an output and to supply it to a load 6. In this case, a choke coil 8 is provided between the input power 1 and Tr 2, a capacitor 9 is provided in parallel to the diode 3, and a series circuit composed of the choke coil 8, Tr 2 and capacitor 9 is connected with both ends of the DC input power 1 to constitute an LC resonance circuit. Thus, the electric current of Tr 2 becomes sinusoidal and noise can be reduced by the resonance function of said choke coil 8.
