Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce interface reaction at the time of combining stabilizing metal such as Al, Cu, Ag on the surface of core material of ceramic high temperature superconductive matter by coating it with the stabilizing metal itself or metal with a higher fusing point than that which is liable to diffuse with the stabilizing metal just under the fusing point. CONSTITUTION:For the surface of core material of a single continuous filament or its assembly of ceramic high temperature superconductive matter, attachment with stabilizing metal is insufficient when it is combined with it. For improving adhesion property, therefore, a middle layer of the stabilizing metal itself or the metal with a higher fusing point and liable to diffuse with the core material and the stabilizing metal just under the fusing point of the stabilizing metal is put between them. For the middle layer, at least one of Al, Ag, Au, Co, Cu, Fe, Ni, Pd, Ru, Si, etc., is used, which is to be applied by electroplating, electroless plating, PVD method, CVD method, infiltration method, etc. Bend moulding property of each wire is thus improved, and it is also prevented from being quenched.
