Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title prober which can be connected electrically to many terminal electrodes at fine terminal intervals by providing electric connection wiring which connects plural projection electrodes formed on an insulating substrate and terminal electrodes formed at the substrate end and connecting the terminal electrodes to a flexible wiring substrate. CONSTITUTION:This probe is provided with the insulating substrate 1, the projection electrodes 2 formed on the substrate 1, and the electric connection wiring 3 which connects the projection electrodes 2 to the terminal electrodes 16 formed at one end of the insulating substrate 1. Further, the terminal electrodes 16 are connected to the flexible wiring substrate 4. This constitution makes electric connections with many terminal electrodes at fine intervals. Therefore, the space for the terminal electrode formation on the electric circuit board is not required and this prober can be connected directly to the terminal electrodes for, for example, a glass-on chip.
