Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent damage to a mount frame and a magazine by reversing a pusher attitude selector mechanism with a feed interrupting device on the basis of detection operation of a feed failure detecting device, and retracting a pusher from a transfer route. CONSTITUTION:When a mount frame MF on which a semiconductor wafer is stuck has been transferred or a feed stand-by position via an adhesive tape, a pusher attitude selector mechanism 14 makes a pusher 13 enter within a transfer route, pushing it into a rack 2 of a magazine 1 by operation of a pusher moving mechanism 15. Here, when a feed failure detecting device 16 detects feed failure, the pusher attitude selector mechanism 14 is reversed by a signal of a feed interrupting device 17, retracting the pusher 13 from the transfer route. Consequently, the feed defective mount frame MF being pressed between the pusher 13 and the rack 2 is released from the overload. Thus, any damage to the mount frame and the magazine is surely preventable.
