す断面図、第３図は第２の実施例に係り、燃料ポ
ンプのリリーフポートに設けたリード弁が燃料温
度の変化に応じて変形する場合を示す断面図、第
４図及び第５図は従来技術を示し、第４図は燃料
ポンプを含む燃料噴射装置の全体構成を示す系統
図、第５図は燃料温度が異る場合の燃料ポンプの
リリーフ圧力と吐出流量の関係を示す特性線図で
ある。 １……燃料タンク、２１……ケーシング、２２
……リリーフポート、２３，３１……リリーフバ

Claims (1)
- 内部にポンプ部及びモータ部を収容したケーシ
ングと、該ケーシングに設けられ、燃料タンクに
連通するリリーフポートと、該リリーフポートに
形成された弁座及び該弁座に離着座する弁体から
なり、前記ケーシング内の燃料圧力が所定値に達
したときには開弁して該ケーシング内の燃料を前
記燃料タンク側にリリーフするリリーフバルブと
を備えた燃料ポンプにおいて、前記リリーフポー
ト内には前記ケーシング内の燃料温度が上昇する
のに応じて燃料のリリーフ量を減少させるための
リリーフ量規制部材を配設したことを特徴とする
燃料ポンプ。
