Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a surge by controlling a predetermined and corrected airflow quantity and correcting an airflow quantity to each inlet guide vane angle to a surge point which corresponds to an angle of an inlet guide vane. CONSTITUTION: A movable inlet guide vane 20 of a load compressor 18 is moved by an actuator 22 and a surge controlling device 24 is mounted at an outlet 26. An airflow quantity which is released from a duct 28 is controlled by changing a position of a damper 32. A position of an actuator 30 is controlled by a pressure surge valve 34 and the surge valve 34 reacts a change of the amount of flowing air in the exit 26 so as not to surge the compressor 18.
