Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable weak persons like women or the aged to easily and safely start a small-size engine without a starter motor by decreasing the ignition rotational speed of an ignition device. CONSTITUTION:A condensor 8 is provided in an ignition power supply circuit parallelly to a Zener diode 7. The peak point of a voltage due to the conversion of charge/discharge of the condensor 8 is detected by means of a detecting circuit. During low revolutions, that is, when the detection shows the voltage lower than the operating voltage of the Zener diode 7 even at the voltage peak, a signal which breaks the continuity of a transistor 5 is generated at the voltage peak point. The current in a primary side coil 4 is therefore cut to enable the ignition of an ignition plug 3. Additionally, the ignitability is improved by increasing the voltage of a secondary side coil 2 for igniting the ignition plug 3. The starting of an engine is enabled in a range of low revolution of 350rpm or less, preferably around 250rpm.
