Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the terminal workability by forming an insulating layer from foaming fluororesin and forming a sheath from polybutylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalic elastomer. CONSTITUTION:A coaxial core 10 is constituted of a conductor 12 and an insulating layer 14, a shielding layer 16, and a sheath 18 applied on this conductor 12 in sequence. The insulating layer 14 is made of foaming fluororesin, and the sheath 18 is made of polybutylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalic elastomer. Polytetrafluoroethylene(PTRE), tetrafluoroethylene.hexafluoropropylene copolymer(FEP), or tetrafluoroethylene.parfluoroalkyl vinyl ether copolymer(PFA) with the low dielectric constant of 2.1 for the raw material is preferable for the material of the foaming fluororesin to obtain its low dielectric constant, and the foaming ratio is selected according to the required electric characteristic. The terminal workability can be thereby improved.
