Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an absorbing filter for radiowave like ultraviolet rays which can be stably stuck for long period, by stacking and unified in a body a thin conducting mesh composed of metal-plated fiber, a transparent flexible synthetic resin film, an ultraviolet ray absorbing film, and a self-sticking film. CONSTITUTION:A base material layer 1 is composed of a transparent flexible synthetic resin film such as polyvinyl chroride resin and polyethylene terephthalate resin. A conducting layer 2 is stuck on one side surface of the base material layer 1. The conducting layer 2 is composed of a see-through thin mesh formed by weaving or knitting conductive fiber in the form of a thin veil. The conductive fiber is made by depositing and plating metal like nickel on the surface of synthetic resin. On the other surface of the base material layer 1, an ultraviolet ray absorbing layer 4 is arranged, which is composed of transparent flexible synthetic resin having ultraviolet ray absorbing properties. Outside the ultraviolet ray absorbing layer 4, a sticking layer 5 composed of flexible synthetic resin having self-sticking properties is arranged, and further outside an exfoliating paper 6 is stuck. This radiowave absorbing filter can be directly stuck on the outside glass plate of fluorescent screen of a cathode- ray tube.
