Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a brilliant sheet superior in brilliancy, decorative properties and durability, by a method wherein a brilliant coated layer includes a brilliant particle layer comprised of a matrix consisting of flexible polymer resin and particles of brilliant substance by including them and a coated surface layer comprised of flexible and transparent polymer resin. CONSTITUTION:A brilliant sheet includes base cloth comprised of fiber towel and a brilliant coated layer which has been formed on the surface, The brilliant coated layer includes a brilliant particle layer comprised of a matrix consisting of 90wt.% or less flexible polymer resin and 10wt.% or more brilliant substance dispersing within the matrix by including them and a coated surface layer which is formed on the brilliant particle layer and comprised of a flexible and transparent polymer resin. As the brilliant particle layer is protected by the coated surface layer, brilliant substantial particles are protected from change of properties, scratching and wearing and an improvement of the brilliant substantial particles of the brilliant particle layer up to 10-60wt.% is available. Then brilliancy of the brilliant particle layer is improved further by arranging a base cloth coating layer. The base cloth is constituted of fiber towel and mechanical strength, dimensional stability and durability of the brilliant sheet are improved.
