Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable easy and prompt sampling of a liquid sample, by providing a suction port connected to a vacuum pump in a vacuum tank which is freely openable and closable, and also providing a sampling tube extending from inside the tank to the outside. CONSTITUTION:A suction port 12 is formed at the upper surface of a vacuum tank 11. The suction port 12 is connected to a vacuum (not shown). A sampling tube 13 is installed inside the tank 11. A bottle 14 for receiving a sample is placed immediately below an outlet 17 at the exhaust side of the sampling tube 13. In the above state, when the vacuum pump is driven to reduce the pressure inside the tank 11, the sample is sucked into the tube 13 and falls in drops from the outlet 17 to within the bottle 14. Therefore, the liquid sample can be easily and promptly collected for sampling.
