Abstract

PURPOSE:To consecutively form the fine image of high resolution on a screen by oscillating an optical axis to pass through an original picture within the after-image forming time range of vision to the screen. CONSTITUTION:Between a white light source 2 and a screen 3, a liquid crystal panel 5 is provided as an original picture device electrically connected to an electronic driving device 4 from the light source 2 to the screen 3 side. A light is transmitted from the light source 2 to respective picture elements arranged in a prescribed way and the image of the respective picture elements is enlarged by a projecting lens 6. Then, the enlarged image is projected through a fixed reflecting mirror 7 and a variable mirror 8 to be oscillated in a prescribe cycle on the screen 3. The speed of the change in the lapse of time for the oscillation of the optical axis by the mirror 8 is obtained as the speed within the after-image forming range of the vision. Thus, the resolution of the enlarged image on the screen 3 is improved by consecutively connecting a number of images with being mutually adjoined and the fine and bright image of high accuracy can be formed.
