Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance sensitivity and to improve preservable stability by coating either of a 1st group contg. org. hydroperoxide or 2nd group contg. an oxidizable indicator with water soluble microcapsules.
CONSTITUTION: The org. hydroperoxide, sensitizer, part of binders, etc., among the constituting components for a compsn. for detecting occult blood are divided to the 1st group and the oxidizable indicator, pH buffer, water absorptive powder, part of binders, etc., are divided to the 2nd group. Either of the 1st group or the 2nd group is microcapsulated with a water-soluble microcapsule coating material. Cumene hydroperoxide, etc., are used for the org. hydroperoxide, quinoline, etc., are used for the sensitizer and o-tolidine, etc., are used for the oxidizable indicator. This compsn. is coated on a base to obtain the occult blood inspecting body. Since the 1st or 2nd group is microcapsulated, the decomposition of the org. hydroperoxide during preservation is prevented and the high coloration density is obtd. The preservable stability is thus improved.
