Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the responsiveness of a sensor by a method wherein when the temp. in a chamber is in the condition of rising up to a fixed temp., the power conduction to a heater is so controlled as to keep the temp. rise in the chamber slow until the it reaches the prescribed temp. irrespective of the detected temp. CONSTITUTION:When a control means B starts power conduction to a heater C, the condition of a toaster is judged to be in the rising condition from an unused condition or an interrupted condition near the unused condition on the basis of a start signal for cooking and the detected temp. of the inside D of a chamber by a detecting means A, etc. At the time of rising condition or the interrupted condition near the startup, the power conduction to a heater is so turned on and off periodically as to keep the temp. rise in the inside D of the chamber slow until the temp. of the inside D of the chamber detected by the means A reaches a fixed temp. or its near temp. Thereby, the temp. in the inside D of the chamber is slowly rising and a sensor is therefore operated with satisfactory responsiveness.
