Abstract
PURPOSE:To make cooling possible if only a power supply is available and to prevent a change in a use feeling with the elapse of time, by providing a freezing element absorbing heat from a heat absorbing part by utilizing Peltier effect, a radiation part provided on the side reverse to the heat absorbing part and a controller for controlling the supply current of the power source on the basis of the output signal from the temp. sensor provided to the heat absorbing part. CONSTITUTION:A DC current is supplied to a freezing element 2 from a power source 7 through a heat generating contact part 6 and the absorption of heat is generated at the heat absorbing contact part 5 by Peltier effect. The temp. of the heat absorbing contact part 5 falls and the temp. of a heat absorbing part 3 also falls with this to make it possible to cool an object to be cooled. The Joule heat generated in the heat generating contact part 6 is diffused from a radiation part 4 and, in cooling, the output signal corresponding to the temp. of the heat absorbing part 3 is emitted from the sensor 8 in the heat absorbing part 3 to enter into a feedback circuit 9 and compared with the cooling setting voltage of a controller 10 and the signal for controlling the output of the power source 7 is emitted from the feedback circuit 9 in order to set the temp. of the heat absorbing part 3 (the surface temp. of the heat absorbing part 3; about 35.5-36.7 deg.C). By this method, the temp. of the heat absorbing part 3 can be always almost held to a set value to cool the object to be cooled.
