Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operability by registering an opposite number when no communication with an opponent by dialing is performed, starting up the dialing at an arbitrary time afterwards and erasing registration after completing the communication. CONSTITUTION:In case of performing no communication by dialing a telephone number, the telephone number of the opponent is registered at the specific position of a telephone number storage part 12 automatically by the control of a control part 11 transiently together with an identification bit representing temporary registration. Afterwards, by depressing a temporary registration call key 100, a corresponding stored content is read out from the telephone number storage part 12 by the control of the control part 11, and the number is sent to a dial part 13, then, the dial part 13 sends it from a line control part 14 to a telephone line by dialing the number. Then, facsimile communication is performed with the opponent and when it is completed, a completion signal is informed from a reading part (in transmission) to the control part 11 and the control part 11 receiving the signal, when recognizing the setting of the identification bit representing the temporary registration on the telephone number at that time, erases the stored content in the telephone number storage part 12. In such a way, the operability can be improved.
