Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a shift lever from shifting from a middle position at the time of moving the shift lever to the middle position by carrying out the feeding/discharging of compressed air into and from a first pressure chamber in a condition that a positioning piston is advanced to a stopper position. CONSTITUTION:A positioning piston 20 is provided on the end part side of a piston rod 8 and compressed air is fed into a first pressure chamber 16 to bring the end part of the piston rod 8 into contact with the positioning piston 20, holding a shift lever 6 in a middle position. Then, by providing a delay means on each of compressed air feeding/discharging means of the first and third pressure chambers 16, 22, the feeding of compressed air into the first pressure chamber 16 is delayed by a defined time from the feeding of compressed air into the third pressure chamber 22, while delaying the discharging of compressed air out of the third pressure chamber 22 by a defined time from the discharging of compressed air out of the first pressure chamber 16, through those delay means at the time of a middle position holding operation.
