Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a hole having an optional diameter in a green sheet at an optional position by moving the conductor paste to a die with the magnetic force generated in the hole-shaped conductor paste printed on the green sheet so as to form a hole in the green sheet on the die. CONSTITUTION: Conductor paste 10 having the same shape with the cross sectional shape of a hole is screen-printed in a green sheet 7 at an optional position. This green sheet 7 is fixed to a frame 15, and the quickly varying current is carried to a coil 9 on the green sheet 7 so as to quickly vary the magnetic field in the coil 9. Induction current flows in the conductor paste 10 in a direction for offsetting the variable magnetic field, and the electromagnetic force is applied to the conductor paste 10 by the current. The conductor paste 10 of the green sheet 7 on a die 16 is moved downward by the electromagnetic force so as to form a hole having the same cross sectional shape with the conductor paste 10 in the green sheet 7.
