PURPOSE:To reproduce a color image of higher clarity which is transferred to OHP sheet by forming an ink layer consisting of a mutually different color thermomelting ink layer containing at least two colors and colorless transparent thermomelting acrylic resin on a support, and giving gloss and homogeneity to a high gradation image by incorporating coloring agent in the thermomelting ink layer. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium consists of an ink layer 2 of colorless transparent thermomelting acrylic resin as a separate section ink layer, and thermomelting ink layer 1 which is arranged by dividing into three color checkered pattern portions such as yellow, cyan and magenta as a checkered coating system of a linear sequence system, located before the former ink layer 2. The thermomelting ink layer contains coloring agent in the microporous resin texture. After transferring an image having different coloring gradation, while reading bar odes A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3, B4... for color distinguishing and positioning, colorless transparent thermomelting acrylic resin is transferred. Consequently, transfer-image has increased gloss and gives high density and dynamic impression.
