Abstract
PURPOSE:To control well the high speed rising of temperature and the granulation of a compound by using the device in which an agitating wing is made into multistages, and then the wing of the lowest stage is an anchor type wing and its blade is inclined in a direction to raise up the fine particles by its rotation, and further the wing of the upper stage than the lowest stage is a flat type wing and its blade is inclined in a direction to hold down the fine particles by its rotation. CONSTITUTION:When the thermoplastic resin compound containing at least 20wt.% of solid fine powder is produced, such a manufacturing device is used, wherein an agitating wing is made into multistages, and then the wing of the lowest stage is an anchor type wing and its blade is inclined in a direction to raise up fine particles by its rotation, and further the wing of the stage upper than the lowest stage is a flat type wing, and its blade is inclined in a direction to hold down the fine particles by its rotation. The ratio EU/ED of the consumed energy ED per unit hour of the wing of the lowest stage to the consumed energy EU per unit hour of the wing of the upper stage than the lowest stage, is caused to be 0.5-1.5. The speed of temperature rising is increased by the action of the wing of the upper stage. To control well the granulation of the compound, the peripheral speed of the agitating wing is preferably in the range of 35-40m/sec, and the shape control in the granulation condition of the mixture is preferably achieved by the electric power or the current of a driving motor.
