Abstract
PURPOSE:To allow an antenna to accurately track a satellite in consideration of the inclination of a vehicle by providing a means which detects the inclination of the vehicle and controlling the elevation angle of the antenna face in accordance with this detected information and longitude and latitude information by a control meals. CONSTITUTION:A detector 6 consists of a light receiving device where many photodetectors 61 are continuously arranged in an arc on an attaching frame are attached to a vertical shaft 40 so that light receiving faces are vertically turned down, a pendulum body 64 which is freely turned in a plane parallel with the vertical shaft and has a weight in the lower end part, a photodetector 62 attached to the upper end part of the body 64, a light emission driving circuit 63, and a detecting circuit 60 which outputs inclination detection information corresponding to the position of the photodetector 61, which receives the light emission of the photodetector 62, to an arithmetic unit 5, and detects an angle of displacement of the elevation of the antenna face due to the inclination of a vehicle body. The arithmetic unit 5 refers to longitude and latitude information D, advance direction information of the vehicle body from an advance direction detector 7, and detection information from the detector 6 to operate the azimuth angle and the angle of displacement of elevation and controls an azimuth angle and elevation angle adjusting means 10.
