Abstract

PURPOSE:To save man-hour in the operation by arranging a sliding nozzle and a weigher to each of a ladle and a tundish and controlling opening of the sliding nozzle based on tracking control and information processing of molten steel. CONSTITUTION:The sliding nozzle 7 and the ladle weigher 3 are arranged to the ladle 1 and also the sliding nozzle 8 and the tundish weigher 4 are arranged to the tundish 2. Further, a little detector 9 to the ladle 1 and a positioning detector 10 to the tundish 2 are arranged and a level detector 16 is arranged to a mold 12. By detected results of the detectors 9, 10, 16 and the weighers 3, 4, the opening timing for each sliding nozzle 7, 8 is decided and the openings of the nozzles 7, 8 are controlled based on the information of the molten steel in the ladle 1. Therefore, as unmanned operation for casting equipment can be executed, the operation saves man-hour.
