Abstract

PURPOSE:To linearize the characteristics of the rate of outflow of molten steel and stabilize the molten steel level in a mold by feeding the results of the operation of the amount of pouring of molten steel to an adder, and controlling a tundish stopper based on the synthesized control signal adding a dither signal to this. CONSTITUTION:The molten steel level in a mold 1 is measured 7, and the results of this measurement are fed to a control circuit 8 for the amount of pouring of molten steel, where the required amount of pouring of molten steel in the mold 1 is operated in accordance with the above-described molten steel level.
