Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain high speed locking even to a burst wave or the like and to attain digital/LSI configuration by constituting a carrier recovery circuit by a PLL. CONSTITUTION:A modulation reception signal SREC and a reference carrier SCR from a fed back variable oscillation circuit 10 are mixed by a multiplier circuit 1 and demodulated by a demodulation circuit 2. The demodulated signal is subject to band limit by a band pass filter 3 and phase-locked by a PLL circuit in a carrier recovery circuit 4. In this case, since a phase rotation circuit 5 and a phase error detection circuit 6 act like a phase comparator, they have excellent response and excellent tracking performance to a burst wave or the like. Moreover, an AFC 9 is operated based on the phase error of the recovery output SOUT from the circuit 4 to suppress the frequency fluctuation.
