Abstract

PURPOSE:To exert no effect on an NMR apparatus for extracorporeal observation even when an endoscope is not pulled out from the body cavity, by filling a pipeline with a conductive fluid or discharging said fluid from the pipeline. CONSTITUTION:An antenna tube 32 is filled with a conductive liquid 45 by a conductive liquid feed-out apparatus 40 and an antenna part 33 is brought into contact with a region to be measured. A high frequency wave is sent out to the antenna part 33 of the antenna tube 32 from a high frequency wave generating part 55 and a high frequency magnetic field is sent out to the region to be measured and the NMR signal thereof is received by the antenna part 33 to be measured by an NMR signal detection part 57 and, when the NMR image from the outside of the body is observed, the switch 53 of a high frequency wave receiver 50 is turned OFF at first and the change-over cock 43 of the aforementioned conductive liquid feed-out apparatus 40 is changed over to an air side while an endoscope 1 is inserted in the body cavity 4 and the antenna tube 32 is filled with air to discharge the aforementioned conductive liquid 45. Therefore, the magnetic field of an NMR apparatus for extracorporeal observation is not disturbed by the aforementioned antenna apparatus 30.
