Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce an oxide superconducting material capable of raising up to 230-300K Tc onset by using the ceramic of a specified composition containing group IIIa elements, group IIa elements, and group IVb elements in the periodic table. CONSTITUTION:The superconducting material of this invention consists of the compsn. shown by the formula. In the formula, x=0-1.0, y=2.0-4.0, z=1.0-4.0, w=4.0-10.0, v=0.01-3.0, A denotes one or more group IIIa elements in the periodic table, B denotes one or more group IIa element in the periodic table, X denotes one or more group IVb elements in the periodic table. Said electroconducting material can be produced by mixing the fine powders of halide, oxide or carbonate as a starting material, and then applying at least one time pressurization and oxidation calcination to the mixture. In the prepn. of said superconducting material, the 2-4N purity halide, oxide or carbonate is especially selected for using as the starting material, and this starting material is finely pulverized and mixed, and the compsn. of the product can be stoichiometrically controlled by freely changing the respective values of (x), (y), (z), (w) and (v) in the formula.
