Abstract
PURPOSE:To compute the set state of a plate material with respect to a machining unit, by sending data when an optical sensor crosses three detecting plates, which are mounted on reference lines, to a computer. CONSTITUTION:A machining part 4 is moved to the direction of a plate material 11 on guide rails 3 and 3. At the same time, a saddle 6 is moved to the direction of detecting plates 14 on a guide 5. An optical sensor 9 of the saddle 6 crosses a white line 14a of the first detecting plate 14 at a point (a) and outputs an output signal. The output is inputted into a computer 10. The coordinates of a reference point O of a perforator 1 are stored in the computer 10. Then, the saddle 6 is moved to the direction of the second detecting plate 14A. The optical sensor 9 crosses the white line 14a of the detecting plate 14A at a point (b). The output signal is inputted into the computer 10. By the same way, the machining part 4 and the saddle 6 are moved. The optical sensor 6 crosses the white line 14a of the third detecting plate 14B and outputs the position signal at a point (c). Computation is performed in the computer 10 based on the coordinates of the point (a), the point (b) and the point (c). The set state of the plate material 11 with respect to the perforator 1 is automatically detected.
