Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a heat receiving and radiating fin and to enable restrictions on the posture of using a casing cooler to be removed, by a method wherein a heat pipe constituting of a zigzag loop type capillary is penetrated through the wall face or the partition wall of a sealed casing and is arranged over atmospheres inside and outside the casing. CONSTITUTION:An elongated capillary container is formed into an endless zigzag shape by combining a group of straight tube parts 2-1, 2-3 and a group of bent tube parts 2-2, 2-4, to constitute a zigzag loop type capillary container. Operating liquid is circulated only in the arrow sign direction by the actuation of small-sized check valves 2-6 provided in at least two or more places and by the steam pressure of the operating liquid, which generates at a heat receiving part (evaporation part). This heat pipe of the zigzag loop type capillary is penetrated through the casing wall face of a sealed casing 1 and is arranged over the inside and outside of the casing 1 to form a heat receiving part group A and a heat radiating part group B. The operating liquid circulates while repeating evaporation and condensation. Moreover, it is desired that the capillary container is completely annealed and can be freely bent by a predetermined means. Further, the wall face of the casing 1 may be arranged horizontally and the group of the straight tube parts 2-1, 2-3 may therefore be arranged vertically.
