Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of a distance between rotor shafts as well as to improve the productivity by installing each of double eccentric bushes rotatable with each other, in at least one side bearing of each rotor shaft of paired male and female rotors engaged with each other. CONSTITUTION:In case of a screw compressor made up of housing a male rotor 1a and a female rotor 2a in a casing 3 free of rotation in the state that their teeth are engaged with each other, each of these rotors 1a, 2a is supported on the casing 3 via respective bearings 4 (4a and 4b). In this case, each bearing 4 is attached to the casing 3 via eccentric bushes 5, 6. And, these eccentric bushes 5, 6 are formed into a double structure rotatable in the opposite direction to each other at the time of adjustment of a distance between rotor shafts when assembling these male and female rotors 1a and 2a, and an eccentric ring 5 at the inside is clamped to the bearing 4.
